LotRO PvMP Changes

lotro-pvmp-001

Even though the game was about as blue as you could get I did play LotRO a bit until the level grind finally got the best of me.  The real reason I was leveling anyway was when you do so, you also gain points which you can spend on your “monster” character of choice.  This helped out a lot as attempting to get these levels purely in the PvP side of the game was quite difficult and having higher level skills available was a huge advantage.

More details on Guild Wars 2 “World vs. World” system

gw2-warrior-004

I posted, just recently, of my personal concerns over the endgame content available at launch for Guild Wars 2 and then a few days later ArenaNet decides to drop this golden bomb of PvP information making me look, even more, like a stuttering jackass.  Well here’s the lowdown if you haven’t already skimmed the Q&A.  Remember DAoC frontiers?  Ok, now imagine that, but bigger, better and gilded in awesome.

New Korean MMO Blade & Soul looks surprisingly promising

bladesoul

Three new vidoes of NCsoft’s new and upcoming MMO Blade & Soul have surfaced highlighting the games PvP gameplay.  While the actual combat revealed was a bit underwhelming, the graphics seemed to be polished to quite a high level and the mechanics are original, or at least I haven’t seen their like just yet.  The first two videos show 1 on 1 scenarios and the third shows a zergy battle scene between the opposing factions within the game.  My only comment would be to
